TrialNet offers risk screening to identify individuals in the early stages of T1D, so they can try to change the course of the disease. Each participant learns about their individual risk and helps us learn more about T1D. If you have a relative with T1D, you’re in a unique position to advance important T1D research.
TrialNet T1D risk screening is offered to anyone between the ages of 2 and 45 with a sibling, child, or parent with type 1 diabetes OR anyone between the ages of 2 and 20 with a sibling, child, parent, cousin, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, grandparent or half-sibling with type 1 diabetes. Please note: Limited rescreening is available for those under age 18.
TrialNet screening is available at this event, but if you can't make it, we can schedule an appointment or mail a test kit directly to you. For more information, contact the Outreach Team at Benaroya Research Institute at Benaroya Research Institute by emailing diabetes@benaroyaresearch.org.
